Together with the start of fat and margarine production of UNILEVER in Turkey in 1953, the requirements in pastry and biscuit market has been determined and in this direction, production of Stella, Biskin and Hard Biskin fats started in the same years. Products used in producing biscuit, pastry and cream have gathered quite demand and in 1960s "Asta" was offered for pie production and general usage margarine "Alba" was offered to the favor of pastry masters.
In 1985, investment was speeded up with the establishment of UNIPRO, by UNILEVER and international quality standards, and the most advanced production techniques were gained to the Turkish Pastry Sector.
In this direction, scope of production of UNIPRO has been growing up and took its situation of today towards covering the needs of sector under the professional standards by using the highiest sanitary standards and the most quality materials.
UNIPRO always postulated to be the first and pioneer in every case from production of "Pastry Fat and Margarine" to the first "Pastry Seminars" and to the printing and publishing of magazine, "From Pastry man to Pastry Man" and to the establishment of "Pastry Training Center".
